Daphne Drop Earrings

Tiny, pale pink daphne flower earrings, so comfortable you can wear these little drops everyday and carry these early spring flowers with you all year round.

About the earrings: The petite drop earrings each contain a glass charm which is made from an original photograph of a pink daphne flower which is scaled down and sealed to protect it. It's then set under a little glass pebble which measures just 8mm in diameter, and magnifies all the detail of the flower. The pebbles are set into sterling silver cups and hang from fine sterling silver safety wires, which are so light you won't know you're wearing them. They hang just below the earlobe.

Daphne symbolism: The plant’s name comes from the Greek for laurel, though, confusingly the plant is not related the the laurel tree! Daphne typically blooms in mid February, close to St Valentine’s Day, so it is sometimes referred to as the romance plant.
