Pretty drop earrings celebrating a much loved Spring flower - the daffodil.
About the earrings: These unusual drop earrings each contain a glass charm which is made from a miniature photograph of the gently bowing 'head' of a yellow daffodil. The photo is carefully sized down to a tiny 10mm, printed onto high quality photographic paper, then sealed and set under a convex glass pebble to make each charm. The charms are finished by being set into sterling silver and the earrings completed with fine, lightweight sterling silver safety wires, which are incredibly comfortable.
The earrings hang just at the base of the earlobe when worn and suitable for everyday wear. The process of setting the charms ensures the earrings are completely waterproof and they can be cleaned with a soft cloth, warm soapy water or silver polish for a high shine.

Daffodil symbolism The daffodil has come to be held as symbol of new beginnings as it indicates the coming of Spring, being one of the first perennials to bloom after the winter frost. The daffodil is the national flower of Wales, and it is traditional to wear a daffodil on St David’s Day. Narcissi flowers are also seen to represent creativity, inspiration, awareness and inner reflection, forgiveness, and vitality. The daffodil is the birth flower for March.
