A trio of Spring Flowers
It's the start of Bluebell season and I'm enjoying seeing the first splashes of blue popping up around my local area. The bluebell pieces that launched last Spring remained popular not just at Springtime but throughout the year, evoking memories of Spring woodland walks, in days which didn't seem so bright.
Earlier in the year I did a little survey to ask which designs you would like to see and the daffodil came up as a suggestion several times. Originally planned to sit in the same oval shape as the bluebell, the image I settled worked so much better in a circle, however the usual sizes were not quite working. These daffodil drop earrings and necklace are in a new size bezel - 10mm. Perfect for this sunny yellow trumpet announcing the arrival of Spring.

DAFFODIL
These two flowers aren't the first to indicate that warmer days are ahead though. One of the first flowers to show their heads is the snowdrop. It may look delicate, but as it's name suggests, this little flower fights it's way through snow and frosts to bloom for January to March.
